Mission : The Sales Operations Manager (based in Germany)  is responsible for overseeing the processes, tools, and technologies that support the sales force in an organization. This role ensures that the sales team operates efficiently and effectively to achieve its revenue goals. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with sales leadership, marketing, finance, and other departments to drive sales performance and strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities SALES PROCESS OPTIMIZATION Develop, implement, and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze sales activities to identify opportunities for improvement. Standardize sales procedures and ensure they are documented and followed consistently. SALES ANALYTICS AND REPORTING: Create and maintain sales performance dashboards and reports. Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data analysis. Track key performance metrics and develop forecasts to support strategic planning. Ensure the data quality regarding Customer Segmentation by channel to execute Go-to-Market strategies properly. SALES TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT: Manage and optimize CRM systems and other sales tools. Ensure the sales team is trained on and effectively using sales technologies. Evaluate and implement new sales technologies to improve productivity. Monetize the Digital Platforms (webshops, apps,…) by applying sales-oriented strategies. SALES PLANNING AND STRATEGY: Collaborate with sales leadership to develop sales strategies and goals. Assist in the development of sales plans and territory management. Support quota setting and management processes. Be responsible for the Pricing Policy in terms of configuration and execution. SALES TEAM SUPPORT: Act as a liaison between sales and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, product management) to ensure alignment and collaboration. Provide support for sales training and onboarding programs. Assist in the resolution of sales-related issues and challenges. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team. Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching and support. Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward high performance. POLICY DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION Help develop procedures for an area of the organization, and monitor their implementation. FUNCTIONAL STRATEGY FORMATION Contribute to the formation of one or more elements of functional strategy through specialist expertise and insights, to ensure that the strategy meets business needs. ORGANIZATIONAL AND PERSONAL CAPABILITY BUILDING Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfil personal potential. Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or related roles. Strong analytical skills and experience with sales data analysis. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and influence across departments. Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or other advanced degree. Experience in the [specific industry relevant to the company]. Knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
