(Sen.) DevOps / Platform Engineer (f/m/x)

DevOps / Platform Engineer (f/m/x) at Reverion: Ensure high availability of all services required to operate our plants by providing and maintaining a Kubernetes platform  Facilitate the migration of services from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes Define infrastructure and deployments as code and implement a GitOps workflow to streamline deployment processes Collaborate with developers to design and implement CI/CD solutions with deployments to various targets reaching from Kubernetes to our power plants themselves Deploy and maintain a data streaming platform such as Apache Pulsar or Kafka  Implement and manage a data lakehouse based on Apache Iceberg Your profile Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or related role Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, or CI/CD tools are a plus Proficiency in deploying, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters Deep knowledge of defining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) Experience with deploying and maintaining data streaming platforms like Apache Pulsar or Kafka Skill in prioritizing speed in the short term when necessary, while ensuring no long-term compromises on maintainability and robustness Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment typical of start-ups Proactive in identifying issues and opportunities, taking ownership of projects English working proficiency; German B1 skills What we offer Dynamic and high-tech working environment with scope for creative development Hybrid working model with flexible working hours, some remote working possible Flat hierarchies in a young team with the opportunity for personal responsibility Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment Further training opportunities, bike leasing, company pension scheme and other benefits Modern IT equipment and office facilities Free drinks and snacks at our locations Team building events and 100% startup atmosphere About us As spin-off from the Technical University of Munich, we're a highly tech-driven energy startup.
